1927 Austin Heavy 12 Windsor bodied saloon.
This car was originally manufactured at Longbridge for exporting to South Africa where it remained in the same family ownership from 1927 to 1990. It was then returned to England, where it was restored by a specialist vintage Austin garage in south Birmingham and sold by Sotheby’s in 1991. It is conventional RH drive and has many original features. It is used regularly all year through and is well known at local shows, winning many trophy’s. In excellent condition but down-sizing forces reluctant sale. £14,500

RHD 1960 1.2 (35 BHP) matching engine and VIN Beetle in Coral Red.
MOT until 15 Mar 2017 and Tax exempt.
Semaphore model (Not indicators) in exceptional condition with a Flat four roof rack. Still in its original 6Volt condition and maintained well
The car was an import from South Africa, Originally it would have been shipped in parts from the German factory, then assembled and painted in SA.
I have the paperwork from VW to prove it has its all original engine still fitted. The engine isnt the fastest but runs superb and has been serviced regularly, only covering about 800 miles in the last 2 years.
I also have some interesting paperwork from when the car was new. Makes for an interesting historical read.
Always garaged and never seen the rain this car is solid.
This car is a gem and has to be seen in the flesh to appreciate it. Please call 07825 132650.
1952 MG TD
Imported over 20 years ago from America and partly restored. The completion of the restoration was carried out by the present owner approximately 18 years ago including the change to right hand drive,(there is a comprehensive history file of the restoration). The car presents well, but is now in need of some TLC to the paintwork and body tub, it is however a very usable car as it is. The interior again presents very well, with a nice patina. Some repairs have just been carried out to the brakes and the car pulls up straight and true. The engine starts well, pulls strongly and shows good oil pressure. A bonus being that it’s the original unit, so a matching numbers car. The car is completed with hood and side screens.
Offered very reluctantly for sale at the end of July/early August at £15000

On offer is a set of 3 double ended AF spanners and a screwdriver. They were part of the toolkit supplied with my 1963 Daimler 2½ litre V8. Originally those cars had a comprehensive toolkit in a circular toolbox that fitted inside the spare wheel. The 2 smaller spanners are marked Daimler and the larger is marked Jaguar. The screwdriver has a removable 1/4in blade and is marked Daimler.
The condition is “used” as shown in the pictures. The double ended spanner sizes are: 11/32AF – 3/8AF; 9/16AF – 5/8AF; and 3/4AF – 7/8AF.
All the items are in Skopelos, Greece so the buyer will have to pay postage from there, unless you are planning a holiday and want to carry them home.
Free to any FDHVC member who has a Daimler/Jaguar V8. Otherwise make me an offer.
If interested please let me know your postal address and I can obtain post costs.
Ivor Williams Flatbed Trailer 14’ x 6’ 6” bed, sides, steel ramps, winch.
I have owned the trailer from new. It has only been used to take my vintage Ferguson tractor to 3 or 4 vintage shows a year. Therefore it has had little use and is in good condition.

Lucas 9 in Headlight Lens and Rim
- Purchased on eBay in error. I wanted an 8 in cats eye lens and rim but misread the add.
- The lens is identified as Lucas and has the numbers D810/3 and M2.
- Chrome is acceptable but not perfect. Lens has some scratches but no chips.
- The rim dimensions are:
- Internal diameter at rim 7 7/8 in
- Outside diameter 9 in
- £25 (what I paid) + postage from Greece or would swap for an 8 in rim and lens.
Drawing Board, approx 36″x30″ with parallel motion, stand, stool and a bag of assorted stencils, curves, squares etc. £50.
